Omez is used for short-term treatment of ulcers of the stomach or small intestines, Hyperacidity, Epigastric pain, Stomach upset, Gas, Indigestion, Gastric, Jalan, Badhazmi, Pet Dukhna, Bloating, Belching, Reflux and Gastritis problem. It can also be used for treating heartburn or irritation of the esophagus caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Badhazmi describes pain and sometimes other symptoms which come from your upper gut (the stomach, oesophagus or duodenum). Badhazmi includes a group of symptoms that come from a problem in upper gut. The gut (gastrointestinal tract) is the tube that starts at the mouth, and ends at the anus. The upper gut includes the oesophagus, stomach, and duodenum. Bloating is any abnormal general swelling, or increase in diameter of the abdominal area. As a symptom, the patient feels a full and tight abdomen, which may cause abdominal pain, and sometimes accompanied by increased stomach growling, or more seriously, the total lack of it. The most common symptom associated with bloating is a sensation that the abdomen is full or distended. Rarely, bloating may be painful or cause shortness of breath.
