Omez tablet is used for treating heartburn or irritation of the esophagus caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and also for short-term treatment of ulcers of the stomach or small intestines, Hyperacidity.

Omez capsule is available in the market with the dosage of 10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg capsules.

During pregnancy Omez should be taken only when clearly needed. Proton pump inhibitors are not considered safe for pregnant women. Omez should not be taken without prescription during pregnancy.

Omez should be taken only with the medical prescription. It is prescribed to take the medicine in an empty stomach.

Omez 20mg dosage is prescribed For Acid reflux, duodenal ulcer, Erosion and Omez 40mg is recommended to use for the treatment of Gastric ulcers, Heartburn.

Omez 10mg dosage is prescribed For Helicobacter pylori-positive duodenal ulcers as part of the eradication programme with appropriate antibiotics. It should be used once daily.
